Labels

Each industry has its specifics, which must be taken into consideration also by label manufacturers. The manufacture of labels must follow particular functional and quality criteria. The choice of the type and design of the label is therefore influenced by a number of parameters: from information on packaging and exposure to atmospheric conditions to resistance to various chemicals and conditions of use.

In order to choose the optimal printing and finishing technology for your labels, the following parameters must be taken into account during the production:

  • purpose of the label;
  • the material used for manufacture;
  • surface structure;
  • atmospheric conditions in which labelling would take place;
  • atmospheric conditions in which products are stored and transported to the end user;
  • possible requirements regarding recycling of the product;
  • any legal provisions related to the sector of application of the label;
  • the product lifetime or period during which the label must remain undamaged.

Consultancy and technical support in the production of labels represent only a small fraction of our excellent customer services, which include all business processes related to printing and label delivery.

Certified production

We are known for complying with numerous quality certificates and rigorous standards in the area of sustainability and environmental and health protection in all our business and manufacturing processes.

With us you can choose from a wide range of materials and finishes:

Paper materials:

  • non-coated paper (for labels that do not require high print quality),
  • coated paper (for quality printed labels),
  • heat-sensitive paper (for reprinting variable data, e.g. declarations, weight labels, etc.),
  • metallised paper (for special visual effects or as a substitute for gold-printing),
  • black glue paper (to cover incorrect indications on packaging or printed works),
  • special paper (with a special structure or colour shade, e.g. for wine labels).

Synthetic materials:

  • polypropylene or PP (relatively durable and non-stretchable),
  • metallised PP (the same as PP, except that it is useful for special metallic effects),
  • polyethylene or PE (more stretchable material, e.g. for compressible packaging),
  • polyester or PET (maximum durability and persistence).

Finishes:

Once the label is printed, it can optionally be upgraded with different types of finishing. The most common are varnishing, laminating, cold or hot gold-printing, screen printing, blind-blocking, punching or winding on a cardboard core as well as cutting into sheets.
